Denver Criminal Defense Attorney Alyssa Marroquin
Alyssa Haley Marroquin grew up in Plainfield, Illinois, and attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. She then attended the University of Colorado-Boulder Law and obtained her Juris Doctorate.
Alyssa focused on Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Trial Practice while earning her Juris Doctorate. She worked in the Criminal Defense Clinic, representing clients at various points in the legal process. She was also a member of student groups such as the Korey Wise Innocence Project and the Immigration Legal Policy Society.
Prior to clerking for the Law Office of Jacob E. Martinez, she worked for Metro Volunteer Lawyers where she gained valuable experience doing legal research, communicating with clients, shadowing attorneys, and preparing pleadings.
Alyssa began clerking for the Law Office of Jacob E. Martinez in the Spring of 2024 where she gained further experience in the field of Criminal Law.
